Be prepared early! Try this keto/bariatric friendly PSL
🎃 Low Carb Pumpkin Spice Latte (Keto-Friendly)
Servings: 1
Net Carbs: ~3g
🧂 Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any low-carb milk alternative)
1/4 cup brewed strong coffee or 1–2 shots of espresso
2 tbsp pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
1–2 tbsp heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or mix cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1–2 tsp erythritol, monk fruit, or stevia (to taste)
Optional: a dash of sea salt for depth
☕ Instructions:
Warm it up: In a small saucepan, combine the almond milk, pumpkin puree, sweetener, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring until hot but not boiling.
Froth it (optional): Use a milk frother or immersion blender to get that latte foam.
Add coffee: Pour in your brewed coffee or espresso and stir to combine.
Top it off: Add a dollop of sugar-free whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
🍁 Tips:
For a thicker, creamier drink, increase heavy cream to 1/4 cup and reduce almond milk slightly.
You can batch the spiced milk mixture and refrigerate for 3–4 days for easy lattes all week.
