Almost time for surgery

I’m in my final stages of preop days. There is no nervousness in sight as of yet. Days seem long with lack of food. The urge of being hungry off of a smell is a skill that I’m encountering. I did not know that was a problem for me until now! I take a bite of lettuce or drink large amounts of water to fill the void.

Ive been watching my fav food blogger @TheRosetable and have been binge watching her videos with no problem since i cant smell her delicious vids then im good. Hardest part is cooking a feast for my family and not being able to eat it after you smelled the entire meal from scratch. Ugh is this life? Well for now it is. Surgery is in 4 days and I still have to conquer the 3 day liquid stage that runs into 1 week. Pray for me! As I approach a new part in my life , I begin to wonder how I’ll adjust , but it’s a learning moment that I’ll adjust to as time allows it!
